May 2 to 4 was three days worth remembering, three days and two nights when we formally opened the doors of Le Soleil's new 25-room wing.
We've invited members of media to "experience Le Soleil," as part of our efforts to promote our upgraded facilities, and the additional spacious room of the new wing.
Herding friends from media at the airport was not an easy task, the usual long line was there plus the chartered tours for groups of Korean and Chinese tourists who were all heading to Boracay like us.
We arrived safely at Caticlan after almost three hours of waiting at the airport. We spent more time waiting than the actual flight time but when we finally saw the powder white beaches from our plane window, we could actually hear everyone sighing in relief.
The transfer to Boracay island went without any incident and for the group, we welcomed the sight of a boatless beach front unlike before when bancas parked in front of the different resorts.
The trip to Station 2 where Le Soleil is located was a bit long but all of us could actually smell the sea and see the sun setting, giving us the warmth of relaxation as the day was about to come to an end.
We've reached Le Soleil and after a short walk, we were welcomed by the loud reggae music signaling the start of another night of legendary partying at Boracay.
We were brought to our rooms at the new wing and there was again another general sigh of relief.
As we entered the room we were assigned to, we were inclined to stay-in instead for the whole night and sleep; we could all sleep and rest in ultimate bliss.
The rest of the following days were spent snorkeling, wading in the warm blue waters, shopping and strolling at the beach under the moonlight, and for the rest of those who attended, intoxication was one of their fond memories with us.
Fond memories of good friends... till next time and thank you for journeying with us!
